Job summary

Solterra Senior Living at Chandler is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the community’s building, grounds, and engineering systems, including supervising maintenance staff and housekeepers. The role ensures high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficient operations across the campus.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, life safety inspections, repairs in apartments and common areas, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of on-site maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of facility maintenance and repairs including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, locksmith, painting.

Responsibilities

• Implement and perform preventative maintenance programs.
• Coordinate compliance with building codes, MSDS, OSHA, EPA regulations, and fire codes.
• Inspect life safety systems: extinguishers, sprinklers, alarms.
• Perform repairs and maintenance in apartments and common areas.
• Maintain landscaping and exterior grounds.
• Schedule staffing for maintenance and housekeeping.
• Manage inventory and maintain files and records.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly.
