Job summary

Solterra Senior Living at Chandler is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to uphold the building and grounds through routine tasks and work orders. You will support move-ins and respond to maintenance requests for resident satisfaction, performing plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, painting, and landscape work as needed.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in maintenance, with hands-on plumbing and electrical experience; a High School diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Maintenance role.
• 2+ years of experience in plumbing, drywall and electrical.
• Senior Living or Multi Family experience a plus.
• GED or high school diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to and completes resident work orders, ensuring quality of service to maximum resident satisfaction.
• Performs work needed to ready apartments for move-in as assigned.
• Performs general maintenance projects as assigned, including installations and repairs involving plumbing and electrical equipment, carpentry, painting, equipment repair, snow removal and landscaping.
• Knowledgeable of all property emergency, safety/disaster plans and procedures.
• Responds promptly to emergencies.
• Maintains office, shops, storage and mechanical areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
