Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners (FPACP) in Texas seeks a Maintenance Director to plan, direct and evaluate the maintenance program across grounds, facilities and fleet. You will oversee plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical work, plus manage outside contractors and safety compliance.

You will coordinate fire safety inspections, maintain logs, and ensure regulatory standards are met while promoting a positive, safe environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with verbal and written instructions in English.
• Identify maintenance problems, plan and follow through to their solution in a timely manner.
• In depth understanding of physical plant maintenance requirements.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal guidelines.
• Prefer experience in estimating maintenance and repair costs.

Responsibilities

• To assure resident safety.
• Directs or performs duties related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance.
• Operate tools and maintain equipment in safe condition.
• Arrange annual fire safety inspections with local fire department.
• Maintain maintenance logs and equipment records.
• Promote positive relations with residents, families and guests.
