Meadow Brook Rehab in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Director of Maintenance to oversee the building, equipment and grounds of a skilled nursing facility, ensuring safe, reliable operations to support resident care.

The role involves planning preventive maintenance, safety testing, budget adherence under the Administrator, and leadership of maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry teams, while coordinating with staff and vendors to meet regulatory requirements.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years' commercial/industrial maintenance experience.
• Minimum one year maintenance department leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules and executes preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements
• Performing & documenting safety tests
• Understands and ensures compliance with the laws and regulations governing skilled nursing facilities
• Maintains professional working relationships with all departments, staff, vendors, inspectors, etc.
• Conducts required inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment and systems for general use and for life safety regularly
• Operates within a budget under the direction of the Administrator
• Interacts positively with residents
• Manages maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry departments including interviewing/hiring
• Provide education and training for staff including but not limited to fire safety, emergency preparedness, safety and other state and federal requirements
