Bloom at Kessler is seeking a Maintenance Director with HVAC certification to oversee the community's maintenance of buildings and grounds. You will plan, direct and coordinate activities, train staff on safety, and manage inventories and records to ensure equipment operates efficiently.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance/housekeeping associates, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with the Executive Director on safety and facilities improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a maintenance position.
• If responsible for driving, must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Train and oversee maintenance staff on safety procedures to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain equipment and parts inventories and keep inventory records.
• Record type and costs of maintenance or repair work.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines, systems, and buildings in good condition.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, replace filters, and lubricate machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints and manuals.
• Perform preparatory work for maintenance projects and materials handling.
• Perform and/or outsource a variety of routine physical labor tasks and cleaning.
• End-of-day cleanup and organizing of work areas.
