Job summary

North Shore Healthcare is accepting applications for a Unit Manager (RN) at our southeastern Wisconsin center. This full-time day-shift role offers a competitive hourly wage of $47-$50 based on experience, plus a sign-on bonus.

We are a smaller facility located in southeastern Wisconsin, focused on delivering quality post-acute care in a supportive team environment. The Unit Manager will supervise nursing staff, oversee admissions processes, and manage the LTC unit, with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as an RN in the state of Wisconsin.
• Must maintain CPR certification.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• 1-year LTC experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer use.
• On-call rotation with nursing management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible and accountable for assigned core programs and leads nursing staff through daily oversight of nursing care on assigned unit(s).
• Adheres to the standards of care and manages the environment to maintain resident safety.
• Supervise resident care activities performed by RNs, LPNs and nursing assistants.
• May occasionally act on behalf of the DON in her/his absence.

This position is preferably a fulltime day shift opportunity, to provide more supervision and support with our admission processes, and manage the LTC unit of our facility. There is an attractive salary as well as a sign on bonus for the successful incumbent of this opportunity.
