Come be a part of our dedicated team at Vitalia Senior Residences - Westlake, located at 26695 Center Ridge Rd., Westlake, Ohio 44145. We are seeking a Plant Operations Director to oversee our community's maintenance and operations.

Position Details

• Type: Full Time
• Location: Westlake, Ohio
• Starting Salary: $55,000 - $68,000
• Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Weekend Rotation: Manager on Duty, 10 am - 2 pm

Responsibilities

1. Maintain Quality: Ensure the physical building and grounds meet high standards of maintenance, cleanliness, and appearance.
2. Manage Maintenance: Oversee Plant Operations and Housekeeping departments, including budgeting, staffing, and compliance.
3. Community Engagement: Maintain resident satisfaction and address their requests promptly.
4. Safety: Prioritize safety for employees, guests, and residents, managing hazards and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HVAC certification and experience highly recommended.
• Knowledge of construction, painting, plumbing, flooring, and landscaping preferred.
• Minimum two years in maintenance with supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and perform active physical tasks.
• Must pass criminal background checks and health screenings.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Experience in senior housing is a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and leadership skills.
