Genesis HealthCare in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Maintenance Director responsible for safe, well-maintained surroundings in our nursing centers. You will oversee electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems and coordinate daily maintenance operations to support patient and resident comfort.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, on-call availability 24/7, and compliance with applicable laws. You will report to the Nursing Home Administrator and use the TELS platform for life safety tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems required.
• Prior supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Supervise maintenance department and orient new staff.
• Maintain fire alarm and emergency generator systems.
• Maintain records and assist with budget planning.
• Remain on-call for emergencies 24/7.
• Operate on the TELS platform for Life Safety tasks.
