Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years maintenance experience in a large physical plant preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; organized and reliable.
• Ability to push, pull, lift and carry heavy material; tolerate extreme conditions.
• On-call availability and neat uniform required; AC/Freon recovery certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair physical structures and utility systems of the community.
• Supervise maintenance staff and contractors.
• Oversee housekeeping and maintenance assistants.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program for all equipment.
• Log gauges and readings daily; manage boiler and cooler readings.
• Oversee grounds maintenance, pest control, and exterior appearances.
• Investigate and repair mechanical breakdowns; document root causes.
• Ensure safety, fire prevention practices, and budget adherence.
• Maintain work-order log and procurement within budget.
