Chantilly Heights is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the property, ensuring the facility, grounds, and housekeeping/laundry meet high standards and run smoothly. You will manage outside vendors and coordinate repairs as needed to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

The role involves inspecting systems, conducting routine maintenance, coordinating safety drills, and leading maintenance and housekeeping teams in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and minor electrical work.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• HS Diploma or GED equivalence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, maintain and inspect the community; ensure quality standards and health and safety regulations.
• Inventory management: maintain inventory and order supplies.
• Perform routine building maintenance and install appliances and equipment as needed.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems; test functionality of facilities safety systems.
• Conduct monthly fire drills with all staff and management.
• Maintain, service and properly store equipment.
• Manage housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Maintain and coordinate repairs - HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpets/flooring etc.
• Maintain all building certifications and inspections needed by code.

Chantilly Heights is hiring a Maintenance Director. Be part of a team that provides an exceptional experience for our residents by overseeing the property to maintain and improve the facility, grounds and housekeeping/laundry.

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining all facility systems, equipment, grounds, finishes, identify potential issues and solve issues that arise. Coordinate and manage any outside vendor or contractor that comes on-site to work on the maintenance or repair of the community.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
