Job summary

Sprenger Health Care is seeking a maintenance professional for their Wooster, OH facility. The role involves building and maintaining structures, performing routine safety tasks, and supporting environmental rounds.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, at least a high school education, and 2 years of related field experience, with knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build various structures requiring the use of various materials.
• Organize fire drills, maintain records of fire drills, check all extinguishers and assist Fire Marshall with inspections.
• Do minor plumbing repairs such as, replacing and unclogging hair traps, unplugging toilets, repairing washers and dryers, replacing broken pipes/water lines.
• Follow established performance standards and performs duties according to maintenance policies and procedures.
• Make environmental rounds routinely and initiate corrective action as necessary.
• Supervise maintenance department personnel.
