Job summary

Complete Care at Fox Hill is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance department for a 120-bed, single-level facility in Vernon, CT. The role requires on-call responsibilities, including every other weekend, and prior long-term care maintenance supervision experience.

The successful candidate will organize records, contribute to policy development, and ensure compliance with NFPA 101 Life Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• NFPA 101 Life Safety CODE knowledge; HVAC, Plumbing, and Carpentry Knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the Maintenance Department's daily operations.
• Remain on-call as scheduled, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain all records and documentation for maintenance activities.
• Assist in developing and enforcing departmental policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.

Responsibilities:

• Assume administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for supervising and directing the Maintenance Department.
• Assume on-call responsibilities as scheduled, including weekends and holidays.
• Organize and maintain all records necessary to operate maintenance department.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of written departmental policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by Administrator.
