Marquis Health Consulting Services in Salem, MA is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee daily upkeep of our nursing home, ensuring reliable plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems while focusing on resident safety and comfort.
In this role you will coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor, perform inspections, manage equipment, and document work and supplies. The position requires hands-on problem solving, flexibility, and a compassionate approach to residents and staff.

Assist with daily upkeep of the facility, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and building systems are in top condition.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, prioritizing safety and comfort.
Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and exterior upkeep.
Help maintain resident care equipment, wheelchairs, lifts, and other devices—ensuring they are safe and functional.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to plan repairs and improvements.
Keep accurate records of maintenance work and supply usage.
Basic knowledge of building systems—plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.
Experience in facility maintenance, preferably in healthcare or residential settings.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
A compassionate, respectful approach when interacting with residents and staff.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and perform manual tasks.
