Qualifications

• 2–4 years of long-term care experience preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership competence, tactful interpersonal communication, and critical problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and a maintenance care program.

Responsibilities

• Performs as a working leader who combines strategic oversight with practical, day-to-day involvement.
• Ensure all preventive maintenance tasks and work orders are completed promptly to meet residents’ needs in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Executes all preventive maintenance and life safety schedules promptly
• Ensures all maintenance areas are maintained in a safe manner.
• Supervises maintenance personnel and assists in completing work orders as assigned.
• Orders and provides requisitions for supplies to maintain inventory and operate the maintenance department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Chairs the Safety Committee and attends QAPI committee meetings as scheduled.
• On-call responsibilities and weekends may be necessary to manage emergencies immediately.
