Job summary

Westmont Living seeks a skilled Maintenance Director to lead maintenance at our senior living community. You will oversee daily upkeep, safety compliance, and basic repairs, ensuring reliable operations for residents and staff.

The role requires knowledge of building systems and regulatory standards, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state regulations and OSHA health/safety rules.
• Experience maintaining facilities in senior living settings.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations and safety compliance.
• Perform basic maintenance such as painting, plumbing, carpet removal, and equipment repair.
• Monitor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression and emergency systems.
• Prioritize tasks and coordinate with care teams as needed.

What we need from you:

• Knowledge of state regulations, health laws and OSHA regulations.
• Basic knowledge of State Health and Safety Codes.
• Must have working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, fire irrigation and emergency call systems.
• Strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task.
• Able to complete basic maintenance services such as painting, simple plumbing, carpet removal, and equipment repair.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, constant standing, walking and reaching required

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
