Job summary

Oak Woods Manor is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance team and oversee compliance with applicable regulations. You will ensure the community is clean, safe, and well-maintained, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, while delivering quality laundry services.

The role requires prior maintenance supervisory experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings, and strong communication skills to coordinate with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
• Minimum of one year of maintenance supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance department activities to ensure compliance with laws and codes.
• Keep the community sanitary, attractive, and in good repair; address hazards in electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems.
• Provide quality laundry service as part of the role.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental center compliance in accordance with Federal, State and Local ordinance, regulations and building codes. You will also ensure the community is maintained in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating and cooling systems. This position is also responsible for the provision of quality laundry service.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Minimum of one year of prior experience of maintenance supervisory experience required
• Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
