Job summary

Wingate Living at Silver Lake in Massachusetts is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee preventive maintenance and urgent repair needs, ensuring safety and reliability across the community.

You will advise management on facilities issues, manage on-call rotations, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining compliance with life safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred SNF experience.
• Preferred knowledge of Life Safety Regulations.
• Must have HVAC Experience.
• Must be available for on-call rotations.
• Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment.
• Must carry cell phone and respond to maintenance calls.
• Must know how to turn off main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to community.
• Must have some knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, equipment, machinery, etc.
• Must be knowledgeable of Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan and follow policies and procedures.
