Job summary

Blue Ridge Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance and construction across the facility, including grounds, parking lots and equipment. This leadership role ensures safe, reliable operations and a clean, well-kept environment for residents.

• Regularly inspect equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning and safety.

The Maintenance Director performs maintenance and construction work around the facility. He or she will maintain the grounds, parking lots and equipment; perform cleaning tasks as needed in all areas, as well as paint, plaster and inspect equipment to make sure it is properly functioning.

Responsibilities of Maintenance Director:

• Work on the cooling, plumbing, gas, electrical, mechanical, oxygen and communication systems.
• Perform carpentry duties as needed.
• Paint, plaster and refinish items as needed.
• Perform heavy duty cleaning.
• Change screens and storm windows.
• Inspect all equipment and systems regularly to ensure proper functioning and safety.
