Job summary

Northern Cardinal Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance and construction across the facility. Responsibilities include grounds maintenance, equipment upkeep, and routine cleaning, painting, and repairs to ensure safety and functionality.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, HS Diploma or GED, and the ability to work independently and follow written and oral instructions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, parking lots and equipment.
• Perform cleaning tasks as needed in all areas.

• Work on cooling, plumbing, gas, electrical, mechanical, oxygen and communication systems.
• Perform carpentry duties.
• Change screens and storm windows.

The Maintenance Director performs maintenance and construction work around the facility. He or she will maintain the grounds, parking lots and equipment; perform cleaning tasks as needed in all areas, as well as paint, plaster and inspect equipment to make sure it is properly functioning.

Responsibilities of Maintenance Director:

• Work on the cooling, plumbing, gas, electrical, mechanical, oxygen and communication systems.
• Perform carpentry duties as needed.
• Paint, plaster and refinish items as needed.
• Perform heavy duty cleaning.
• Change screens and storm windows.
• Inspect all equipment and systems regularly to ensure proper functioning and safety.
