Job summary

Blue Ridge Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Maintenance Director to manage maintenance and construction around the facility, including grounds, parking lots, and equipment. You will perform cleaning tasks, painting, plastering, and inspect systems to ensure safety and proper function.

The role requires independence, the ability to follow instructions, and 1–2 years of relevant experience. HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, parking lots and equipment.
• Perform cleaning tasks in all areas and assist with painting and plastering as needed.
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Work on cooling, plumbing, gas, electrical, mechanical, oxygen and communication systems.
• Perform carpentry duties as needed.
• Change screens and storm windows and perform heavy-duty cleaning.

The Maintenance Director performs maintenance and construction work around the facility. He or she will maintain the grounds, parking lots and equipment; perform cleaning tasks as needed in all areas, as well as paint, plaster and inspect equipment to make sure it is properly functioning.

Responsibilities Of Maintenance Director

• Work on the cooling, plumbing, gas, electrical, mechanical, oxygen and communication systems.
• Perform carpentry duties as needed.
• Paint, plaster and refinish items as needed.
• Perform heavy duty cleaning.
• Change screens and storm windows.
• Inspect all equipment and systems regularly to ensure proper functioning and safety.
