Job summary

Touchstone Communities is seeking a Maintenance Director for our Harker Heights community. You will oversee the physical environment, ensure safety and reliability of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems, and lead preventative maintenance to keep residents and staff secure and comfortable.

With at least five years of maintenance leadership in a skilled nursing setting, you bring hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical work, sheetrock, and Life Safety compliance, plus strong

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a maintenance supervisor in a skilled nursing setting.
• Hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and sheetrock repair.
• Familiarity with Life Safety codes and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational and computer skills (email, Word, Excel, internet).
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset focused on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the physical environment of the community, inside and out.

• Perform and oversee repairs, preventative maintenance, and Life Safety compliance.
• Keep documentation up to date in Life Safety Book and TELS maintenance program for audits and surveys.
• Identify and resolve issues quickly to maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, and staff.

What You’ll Do:
