Job summary

Watermark Retirement Communities is seeking a maintenance leader to oversee the maintenance and housekeeping teams at our community in Pennsylvania. You will manage repairs, preventive maintenance, capital projects, and budgetary decisions to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with other departments.

Qualifications

• In-depth technical understanding of repairs and preventive maintenance for heating, plumbing, environmental, and general construction systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, lead a team, and make sound decisions.
• Strong sense of urgency and ownership.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Fiscally responsible and budget-aware.
• Oversee maintenance and housekeeping departments incl. cleanliness of the community.
• Every other weekend commitment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance staff to ensure safety, reliability, and timely repairs.
• Manage capital projects, expenses, and preventive maintenance plans.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain a high-quality living environment.

Compensation: $75,000 per Year

We are looking for someone that is fully knowledgeable of all building systems, safety standards and state and federal compliance regulations including all emergency systems and has a great history making sound decisions regarding the maintenance and integrity of these systems.

We are looking for a leader that is a strategic planner, has an excellent ability to manage, supervise and educate their staff and will stay on top of and ahead of repairs, maintenance, capital item replacements, expenses and projects. Job Requirements:
