Job summary

Qualifications

Job Description:

Under the direction of the Superintendent of Maintenance, the Maintenance Data Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all vehicles are properly serviced; running reports for IDOT inspections, radio and farebox repairs, interior cleaning, PM inspections, and special projects. Essential functions include:

  • Accurately filling and maintaining all maintenance records utilizing the EAM system.
  • Administering tire tracking system and monitoring all fluid consumption;
  • Tracking and maintaining Maintenance employee attendance, vacation, and holiday records;
  • Providing switchboard relief and backup for payroll.
  • Performing administrative functions including typing correspondence, filing, and scheduling, and all other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

Education:

Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalency.

Experience:

Must have one (1) to three (3) years' progressive administrative experience with good work history.

Must demonstrate intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience with Oracle is preferred. Must be organized, exhibit strong typing (both speed and accuracy) and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires sitting for extended periods, typing on a computer, and attending meetings. Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 10lbs.

Working Conditions:

This position is based on an office setting, with standard office equipment, including a computer, phone, and desk space. Seldom will this position be exposed to loud noises, fumes and noxious odors. This position is not eligible for a hybrid work schedule or remote work.

Full Salary Range:$40,983-$84,068

Salary Midpoint:$62,526

Anticipated Starting Salary Range:$51,754-$62,526
