Overview

Position Summary—Are you ready to help shape a member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression? We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. However, maintaining a positive attitude will ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines—including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures, guidelines, and methods.
• Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of company‑approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store them properly, and place orders when supplies are low.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates, performing maintenance as necessary and ensuring members have a great first and last impression.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, such as schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
