As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Maintaining a positive attitude will ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary.
• Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of company‑approved chemicals and supplies needed to keep the facility safe and clean.
• Maintain safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, steel standards, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Keep member satisfaction as top priority and maintain a positive attitude.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
