Are you ready to help shape a member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression? We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. However, maintaining a positive attitude will ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure the safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials safely, following steel‑standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
- Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures, guidelines, and methods, and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
- Maintain appropriate levels of company‑approved chemicals and supplies, ensuring they are rotated, stored properly, and reorder supplies when low.
- Perform maintenance as necessary to keep members and associates in a safe and clean environment.
- Make a positive first and last impression for customers.
Key Qualifications

Compensation
The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid, ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
