Overview
Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr. The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience. This role is a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, focused on keeping facilities safe, clean, and welcoming for members and associates.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean facility by performing maintenance as necessary, including responding to spills and operating floor scrubbers.
- Keep parking lots, restrooms, and floors clean and well-maintained to create a positive first and last impression for members.
- Follow safety standards and procedures, including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, and proper handling/disposal of hazardous materials.
- Maintain appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate stock, store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies as needed.
- Assist with environmental sustainability practices per Company guidelines when disposing of cardboard, plastics, and trash.
- Perform cleaning across facility areas (floors, windows, restrooms, receptacles) using approved methods and equipment.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance and responding to issues promptly.
- Contribute to a positive customer experience by helping ensure a great first and last impression for customers.
