Job summary

Interstate Parking Company is seeking a Maintenance Custodian for our Indianapolis locations. This full-time role pays $18/hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

You will perform cleaning, light maintenance, and equipment inspections on parking gates, doors, and kiosks. Reliable outdoor work, attention to detail, and basic mechanical/tech troubleshooting are essential for keeping facilities clean and functional. Schedule: Full-time, Wednesdays–Sundays, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid regular driver's license with clean driving record; minimum age 25.
• Experience with machinery, tools, and technology; ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and janitorial duties including litter removal, trash disposal, snow removal, sweeping, mopping, and pressure washing.
• Regular inspections and maintenance of parking gates, doors, and technology kiosks.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and technological issues related to parking facilities.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
• Respond promptly to emergency repairs to maintain uninterrupted services.
• Collaborate with operations to identify improvements and implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
