Job description

Job Overview:

We are seeking new landscape maintenance crew members to join our team. Primary Tasks include care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding a residence or property, consisting of mulching, pulling weeds, trimming, and general cleanup, along with other responsibilities.

Please Note: All new crew members are subject to a 30 day training period.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Complete tasks that the crew leaders give to you each day.
2. Ensure the safety of the crew by following guidelines and protocols.
3. Load & unload equipment, tools, and materials needed to complete daily tasks.
4. Operate small machinery at the shop and on the job site.
5. Plant seasonal annuals at various properties.
6. Apply fertilizer to the landscape to enhance growth.
7. Sweep walkways of debris and clean up the property.
8. Rake, mulch, edge and prune the grounds as needed.
9. Prune large shrubs and small tree limbs.
10. Pull weeds & maintain landscape beds.
11. Water plants and grass as needed.
12. Clean up leaves and sticks in Fall.
13. General clean up of the shop and tools.
14. Final walkthrough to ensure job sites are cleaned up and all of our tools have been retrieved.
15. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Motivated team player with a positive attitude.
2. Perform heavy lifting and work in all weather conditions.
3. Have reliable transportation and be dependable.
4. Be authorized to work in the U.S.
5. 1-3 years in the landscaping industry - strongly preferred.
6. Excellent communication skills and hard work.
7. Driver's license - strongly preferred.

Compensation:

1. Full time. ($17 - $22 an hour based on experience and skills).
2. 401K with a 3% company match after completion of your first season and start of your second season.
3. 5 paid holidays.
4. 40 hours of PTO after the first season and return to work for the second season.
5. Company uniform provided.
6. Attendance Bonus: Monthly.

Schedule:

1. Full-time 40 hours a week.
2. Monday to Friday.
3. 7:45 am-4:45 pm.
4. Work Saturdays only in peak season in Spring and Fall.
