Job description

Entry level position for residential landscape maintenance; daily tasks include mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding customer’s yards and flower beds. Maintain customer’s landscapes including lawns and beds per foreman or lead's guidance.

Responsibilities:

1. Gather and remove litter or waste.
2. Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning shears, loppers, hedge trimmers, and other landscape maintenance equipment as needed.
3. Perform work requiring the use of hand tools, power tools, spray packs, and mowing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
4. Ensure company equipment is operated and maintained properly, including initiating any action needed to remedy malfunctioning or unsafe equipment or reporting any issues to the foreman.
5. Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears or pruners.
6. General housekeeping of truck and trailer.
7. Work safely and adhere to uniform and PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) guidelines.
8. Understand and comply with all company policies.
9. Regular attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
