Job summary

Turner Industries is an industrial contractor seeking a Maintenance Cost Specialist to join our Project Controls Team in Baton Rouge, LA. The role focuses on cost and schedule analysis to help management meet budget objectives.

The candidate will work with Maintenance, Turnarounds, and Small Capital Projects, leveraging JD Edwards and other client systems to drive accurate cost reporting and informed decision making.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of cost control and analyst experience in industrial maintenance, capital projects, outages or turnarounds.
• Four (4) years of jobsite cost specialist experience or a BS degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Accounting, or related curriculum.
• Strong background in cost control and cost analytics; proficient with cost accounting and cost engineering.
• Knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise1 modules (Timekeeping, Job Cost, A/P, Billing, A/R).
• Familiarity with SAP, E-Payables, TRACK and basic Cost Accounting terminology.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and control cost, general accounting and cost reporting.
• Collaborate with project management to inform on variances and cost diversity.
• Perform audits and submit cost reports to meet budget objectives.
