Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Omaha, NE is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to keep the branch clean, safe, and well-kept for residents. You will coordinate maintenance tasks, manage service contracts, and ensure timely repairs while upholding safety standards.

The role starts at $23/hour with a benefits‑rich package for full‑time employees, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k). Valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Branch to a standard of excellence and ensure resident safety.
• Prioritize and complete maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Address issues and notify the Director when outside services are needed.
• Ensure apartments are move-in ready within 3 days after move-out.
• Assist in arranging service contracts and bids as assigned.
• Promptly complete items from Maintenance Request forms.
• Manage the Preventive Maintenance Schedule to ensure timely completion.
• Order supplies/chemicals as assigned.
• Identify emergencies and respond using Bickford procedures.
• Ensure equipment is safe and in working order.
