Bickford Senior Living in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to keep the branch clean, safe, and in good working order for residents. You will manage preventive maintenance, address issues promptly, and coordinate with vendors.

This full-time position includes benefits eligibility, daily pay options, and 401(k) with employer match. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to take additional training or education as required by state.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Branch to a standard of excellence reflecting the quality of care for residents.
• Prioritize and complete maintenance tasks promptly.
• Notify the Director when outside services are needed.
• Ensure all apartments are move-in-ready within 3 days after move-out.
• Assist in arranging service contracts and bids as assigned.
• Complete Maintenance Request forms promptly.
• Manage the Preventive Maintenance Schedule to ensure timely completion.
• Order supplies/chemicals as assigned.
• Identify and respond to emergencies following Bickford procedures.
• Ensure equipment is safe and serviceable.

Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as a Maintenance Coordinator! The Maintenance Coordinator ensures that the Branch is clean and in good working order. They use their expertise to provide a safe and well-kept home for our residents.

• Maintain the Branch to a standard of excellence that reflects the quality of care we provide our residents.
• Prioritize and complete all maintenance tasks timely.
• Address maintenance issues promptly, notifying the Director when outside services are needed.
• Ensure all apartments are move-in-ready within 3 days after move-out.
• Assist in arranging service contracts and bids as assigned.
• Promptly complete items from Maintenance Request forms.
• Manage the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule to ensure items are completed timely.
• Order supplies/chemicals as assigned.
• Identify emergency situations and respond appropriately using the applicable Bickford procedure.
• Ensure equipment remains in working order and is used safely.
• Complete Resident Monitoring System Testing Procedure Checklist as scheduled.
• Complete the Exit Door Inspection Checklist as scheduled.
• Perform emergency tests according to the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule.
• Ensure chemicals utilized are securely stored, labeled, and used per directions, and appropriate PPE is worn.
• Ensure OSHA compliance while working in the Branch.
• Complete tasks necessary to comply with all applicable state and federal regulatory agencies.
