Jaybird Senior Living in Panora, IA is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to lead the maintenance team ensuring safe, functional, and attractive facilities for residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, supervising staff, preparing apartments, maintaining equipment and safety systems, and responding to emergencies. The role requires an associate degree or maintenance training and a valid chauffeur license within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or maintenance training with relevant experience.
• State licensure; Chauffeur License within 30 days of hire.
• Strong interpersonal, computer, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and document preventative maintenance programs.
• Supervise and train maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas, including apartments, offices, and grounds.
• Prepare and refurbish apartments for move-ins (painting, flooring, ceiling fans).
• Maintain and repair facility equipment; manage fire safety and emergency systems.
• Inspect apartments for hazards and perform janitorial tasks as needed.
• Transport residents in company vehicles; respond to emergencies as required.
