Position: Maintenance Coordinator
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Schedule: 1st shift, Monday–Friday; 40+ hours per week

About The Role

Bridor USA is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for our Salt Lake City facility to ensure the efficient operation of our maintenance department and the reliability of our production equipment. This role is responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities, managing procurement of parts and services, and coordinating communication between the maintenance team, vendors, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will help optimize equipment uptime, control costs, and support preventive maintenance programs. You will be the central point of contact for maintenance operations, ensuring all work orders, parts, and resources are managed accurately and efficiently. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe, well‑organized, and productive maintenance operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
  • Assign work orders, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to minimize downtime
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment status in CMMS
  • Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts, min/max levels, and food contact/chemical certifications
  • Source, negotiate, and purchase spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies
  • Manage vendor relationships, evaluate suppliers, and ensure cost‑effective procurement
  • Schedule and coordinate contractor services, ensuring safety and quality compliance
  • Support the maintenance team by ensuring all required parts, tools, and documentation are available before work begins
  • Track and analyze equipment performance data to improve maintenance strategies
  • Provide reports and updates on maintenance activities, costs, and inventory status to management

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Other Requirements
  • Ability to work independently, organize tasks, and take initiative
  • Physical ability to receive, move, and shelve parts as needed
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years in an industrial manufacturing environment; food or bakery industry experience preferred

  • Must be able to understand, speak, and write English
