Job summary

The role focuses on planning and executing major equipment work, supporting turnarounds, and driving continuous improvement across industrial systems. You will navigate complex mechanical systems, oversee safety and documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high equipment availability and optimized maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in plant engineering, turnaround execution, maintenance, and reliability activities.
• Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities.
• Able to communicate effectively, make quality decisions, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
• Shows courage and confidence when making decisions and leading others.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform major equipment installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections of industrial mechanical and rotating systems.
• Support and maintain water treatment systems, gas-fired vaporizers, H2 generators, piping systems and related equipment.
• Assist in turnaround planning and cost estimation for mechanical work and identify chronic mechanical asset concerns.
• Conduct periodic inspections and maintenance and support root cause analysis for major failures.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities in EAM and support predictive programs.
• Work independently, make technical decisions, and handle office and field tasks including after-hours access to equipment.

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will plan and perform major equipment installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections of industrial mechanical and rotating systems, including compressors, pumps, turbines, motors, gearboxes, heat exchangers, and cooling towers
• Support and maintain water treatment systems, gas-fired vaporizers, H2 generators, piping systems, and other related process equipment
• Assist in turnaround planning and cost estimation for mechanical work and identify and resolve chronic mechanical asset concerns
• Further, conduct periodic inspections and maintenance of plant equipment and support the root cause analysis program for major failures
• Maintain documentation of all maintenance activities in EAM and uphold the Oil & Vibrations Predictive Program
• Also, work independently, make technical decisions, elevate technical concerns as needed, and perform office and field work, including off-hours availability and access to elevated equipment using ladders, scaffolding, man-lifts, and crane baskets
