Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Burke, VA seeks a Maintenance Coordinator to lead facilities and housekeeping operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents and staff.

You will oversee daily maintenance, respond to emergencies, manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and coordinate vendor activity while supporting resident move-ins and turnover, all while upholding OSHA and life-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities and housekeeping within a senior living or similar environment.
• Ability to oversee daily maintenance and housekeeping operations across a community.
• Proven ability to respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
• Experience maintaining HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and documenting activities.
• Commitment to cleanliness, safety and strong first impressions.
• Ability to support resident move-ins, room readiness and turnover.
• Familiarity with OSHA, safety and risk management standards.
• Experience managing vendors, supplies and maintenance logs.
• Ability to train team members on safety procedures and standards.
• Ability to support department budget and operational efficiency.

Pay Range:

38.95 - 53.80
