Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator in Aiken, SC to support the Maintenance Management Team with coordinating department activities and initiatives. The role requires a Bachelor’s or Associate degree and 2–4 years in maintenance-related fields, plus SAP proficiency.

The position is full-time and on-site, with potential overtime as business requires. Relocation assistance is not available, and candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Management Team in coordinating and administering maintenance department activities and strategic initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and review Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Asset Care Plans, maintenance standards, and supporting technical documentation.
• Maintain equipment records, asset registers, technical files, machine documentation, and maintenance compliance records.

What you will be doing?

Support the Maintenance Management Team in the coordination and administration of maintenance department activities and strategic initiatives. Develop, maintain, and periodically review Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of equipment Asset Care Plans, maintenance standards, and supporting technical documentation. Maintain equipment records, asset registers, technical files, machine documentation, and maintenance compliance records. Support maintenance compliance programs including statutory inspections, engineering inspections, pressure systems, lifting equipment, and other regulatory requirements.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or associate degree, and 2 years of experience in Maintenance engineering; or 4 years’ experience in Maintenance Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Requirements

Proficiency with SAP required. Strong knowledge of Lockout/Tagout programs, maintenance compliance requirements, and asset management principles. Knowledge of CMMS or EAM systems and maintenance documentation processes. Strong analytical ability where problems are complex. Strong organizational planning and follow-up skills

Mental & Physical Requirements

The materials will weigh between 10-25 pounds, and the employee will be occasionally requested to move materials once per week. Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the employee must have the ability to adjust focus.
