  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities on automated production equipment.
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to minimize downtime and maximize machine performance.
  • Create and maintain documentation including electrical drawings, PLC backups, and troubleshooting records.
  • Support automation and controls projects at other Flooring locations as needed.

  • 5+ years of hands‑on industrial maintenance, controls, or automation experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming experience, including Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, Automation Direct, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with HMIs, VFDs, motors, sensors, servos, and other industrial automation components.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
  • Hands‑on experience with electrical wiring, control panel modifications, and equipment startup activities.
  • Knowledge of motor control centers (MCCs), power distribution systems, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex electrical and controls issues under production conditions.
  • Willingness to travel 30-40% to support other manufacturing facilities.
