Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team, supporting our Flooring Products business. You’ll help keep manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll troubleshoot, install and repair motors, controls, wiring, sensors, and more; read schematics; perform preventive maintenance; and support safety and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance.

We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for an Electrical Maintenance Technician within our Maintenance team to help support our Flooring Products business. Our Flooring businesses manufacture and distribute foam-, rubber-, and fiber-based flooring underlayment for residential and commercial use. Our flooring underlayment products provide support, cushioning, and noise reduction under virtually any finished flooring material in your home or business. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping our manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently. You'll work with a collaborative, hands-on team focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

So, what will you be doing as an Electrical Maintenance Technician?

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electronic systems.

• Technical certification, apprenticeship, or formal electrical training.
• Experience with PLCs, conveyors, robotics, or automated equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
