Qualifications

• Experience with general maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled work in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or water/wastewater O&M.
• Troubleshoot and repair reported issues with electrical, HVAC, water/wastewater systems, and facility components.
• Manage projects with basic planning, organization, and administrative skills.
• Complete special assignments as directed by the Facility Maintenance Supervisor.

Work is performed independently with minimal supervision and involves diverse, complex assignments such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water/wastewater O&M, roofing and siding repairs, flooring installation, lighting installation and repair, concrete work, lock and door hardware replacement, ferry ramp electrical troubleshooting, plumbing repairs, and basic structure design/build.
