Job summary

Turner Industries seeks a Combo Welder for a maintenance position in Pass Christian, MS. You will lay out, fit and weld fabricated components to assemble tanks, vessels, pipe and structural parts per procedures. Non-exempt; reports to Foreman; duties align with client specifications.

Requirements include 4+ years welding experience, welding tests, valid welder certification, and pre-employment screening. Safety gear and PPE are mandatory on site; drug testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of experience in welding.
• Must pass 2" Carbon and Stainless Steel Schedule 10 weld test.
• Must be certified as a welder.
• Post‑offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client.
• Safety equipment as required by the client.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly and welding; lays out, positions and fits components; bolts, clamps, tack welds parts; sets up equipment and welds parts.
• Welds pipe and structural components using arc, MIG, TIG processes.
• May repair products by dismantling, straightening and reassembling parts.
