Job summary

Turner Industries seeks a Combo Welder for a maintenance role in Axis, AL. The worker will lay out, fit, and weld fabricated components to assemble tanks, pressure vessels, pipe, and structural parts. The non-exempt position reports to the Foreman and follows defined procedures with frequent quality checks.

Essential qualifications include a high school diploma, 4+ years of experience, weld test, and welder certification. Safety compliance and post-offer screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass a weld test before hire.
• Must be certified as a welder.
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Comply with safety requirements and company policy.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout and weld components for assemblies.
• Weld pipe and structural parts using arc, MIG, TIG as required.
• Set up equipment and perform welds per procedures.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, and reassembling parts.
