Job summary

Turner Industries seeks a Combo Welder for a maintenance role in Axis, AL. You will lay out, fit, and weld components to build tanks, vessels, and structural parts, using arc, heliarc, gas, MIG, and TIG processes. Responsibilities include setup, alignment, and potential assembly or repair work.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least four years of welding experience, and welding certification. A pre-employment drug screen and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Minimum four years of welding experience.
• Must pass a weld test.
• Must be certified as a welder.
• Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the policy.
• Comply with safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fit, and weld fabricated components to assemble structural forms.
• Weld pipe and structural parts using arc, heliarc, gas, mig, and tig processes.
• Set up equipment, clamp parts, and verify alignment for welding.
• May assemble parts by bolting and riveting and repair as needed.
