Job summary

Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. in Lansing, IL is seeking an Inventory & Storeroom Clerk to receive, store, and stock materials and maintain organized inventory.

You will manage maintenance tools and parts, track stock levels, and issue supplies to support operations, while coordinating requisitions and supplier quotes. Responsibilities include updating inventory data in SAP PM, organizing the equipment library, and ensuring timely availability of parts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of tools and (machine parts a plus).
• Knowledge of SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and stock materials while maintaining an organized storeroom environment.
• Manage inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Accurately track and maintain inventory records to ensure proper stock levels.
• Issue and dispense maintenance supplies as needed to support operations.
• Initiate purchase requisitions to replenish maintenance and engineering supplies.
• Maintain and update inventory data using SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM).
• Manage and organize the equipment library, including manuals and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing Department and approved suppliers to obtain quotes and process orders.
• Support maintenance operations by ensuring timely availability of required parts and materials.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Coordinator.

SHIFT: 1st Shift

SALARY RANGE: $18.00-$25.00
