Job summary

Nippon Paint Automotive Americas, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk for the 1st shift in Illinois. The role will involve receiving, storing, and stocking materials, managing inventories of maintenance tools and spare parts, and updating records to ensure accurate stock levels.

Experience with SAP PM is preferred. Responsibilities include coordinating with Purchasing for quotes, processing orders, and ensuring timely availability of required parts to support operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools and machine parts is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and stock materials in an organized storeroom.
• Manage inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Track and maintain inventory records to ensure proper stock levels.
• Issue and dispense maintenance supplies to support operations.
• Initiate purchase requisitions to replenish maintenance and engineering supplies.
• Maintain inventory data using SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM).
• Manage the equipment library and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to obtain quotes and process orders.
• Support maintenance operations by ensuring timely availability of parts and materials.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager or Coordinator.

SHIFT: 1st Shift

SALARY RANGE: $18.00-$25.00
