Job summary

Graceland Fruit, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Purchasing/Inventory Clerk to manage procurement and storage of repair parts using CMMS. You will requisition, receive, document, inventory and stock parts at both GFI locations, collaborating closely with facility Maintenance Supervisors.

Required are a high school diploma and strong math, reading and writing skills, plus proficiency with CMMS, Deacom, and basic software tools. Teamwork and clear communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Generate purchase orders for Purchasing.
• Receive parts, material, and equipment from Shipping.
• Cross reference, close purchase orders, enter received parts, material and equipment into Deacom.
• Stock, inventory count and maintain storerooms.
• Tag new and replacement equipment with asset numbers.
• Complete re-occurring MRO cycle counts.
• Keep shop and work areas neat and clean.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and rules.
• Other duties as assigned.

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance – Forrester Rd. & Main St. Plants

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

This position entails the procurement and storage of maintenance repair parts and supplies utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS). It includes researching, requisitioning, receiving, documenting, inventorying, and stocking repair parts and supplies at both GFI locations. Works closely with facility Maintenance Supervisors.

Job Requirements

• Education Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Skill requirements:
  • Proficient in computer skills for handling work orders, CMMS, e-mail, etc.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
