Job summary

SJS Executives seeks an experienced Carpenter for a potential upcoming contract in Montgomery and Tuskegee, Alabama, supporting maintenance operations at two federal medical facilities.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years of carpentry experience in commercial/industrial or healthcare environments, blueprints literacy, and strong safety knowledge. Work may involve lifting heavy loads and working at heights in federal facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid Real ID required under federal regulations.
• Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience in commercial/industrial or healthcare settings.
• Experience constructing, repairing, and modifying framing, walls, doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, trusses, and structural components.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, repair, and modify wood structures and components.
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials for carpentry projects.
• Install and repair walls, doors, windows, staircases, trim, cabinets, and beams.
• Perform interior and exterior finish carpentry, remodeling, and repairs.
• Read blueprints and safety procedures, operate tools safely.
