Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System in Montgomery or Tuskegee is seeking an experienced Carpenter to support facility operations on a full-time basis. The position may work at either campus based on operational needs.

The role requires carpentry experience, OSHA training, and ability to lift heavy loads while using basic hand tools and PPE. This is an on-site opportunity across two Alabama campuses.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of documented carpentry experience required.
• OSHA 30-hour construction training required.
• Must provide and use basic hand tools and wear OSHA-compliant PPE, including steel-toe boots.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally; work at heights and in confined spaces.
