Job summary

SJS Executives is seeking experienced Electricians for a potential contract in Montgomery and Tuskegee, Alabama, supporting maintenance at two federal medical facilities.

The role requires installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, with a focus on safety and compliance. Pay starts at $23.92/hr plus $5.09/hr health and welfare, totaling $29.01/hr, with 11 paid holidays and summer sick leave accrual.

Qualifications

• Valid Real ID is required by federal regulations.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial, institutional, industrial, or healthcare electrical experience.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical distribution systems, wiring, panels, circuits, and equipment.
• Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase systems and power distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check for access to a military installation.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and modify electrical systems within federal facilities.
• Install secondary power distribution systems, panels, conduits, and cable trays.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial electrical systems.
• Install and troubleshoot fire alarm and security systems; read technical specs.
• Diagnose faults and ensure safe work practices per federal regulations.
